ABOUT US
As a result of the close and enduring relationship forged by the churches of the Western Area of the Northeastern Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the churches of
the Western Association of the New York Conference of the United Church of Christ,
a Covenant was forged on November 9, 1986.
This is a unique relationship where our denominations work together in a spirit of Christian unity.
OUR VISION
That churches from other Christian denominations covenant with us.
WHAT WE DO
We covenant in community to teach and support one another. We share financial resources, physical resources, and spiritual resources so we may all be stronger in pastoral, justice, and witness service to Western New York.
OUR COMMUNITY
Our community consists of the UCC churches in the Western Association of the New York Conference, the CC/DOC churches of the Western Area of the Northeastern Region, and many partners. All are listed on the MEMBER CHURCHES/PARTNERS page.
